Verizon Innovative Learning (VIL) was founded in 2012 to help close the digital divide and inspire next-gen learning among America’s students. They recently launched VIL HQ, a program to inject new technologies into classrooms. To create awareness among teachers and encourage tech+app inclusion into lesson plans, we showed how Verizon is helping create the classroom of the future today.

Filmed in 2021 in Kentucky, our minimal agency team flew out to capture real students experiencing VIL apps firsthand. Our director and crew came from Los Angeles. Our client joined remotely, as we and the rest of the world followed strict Covid protocols - keeping us and the students all safe.
Results: 1.3 million views.

The space was a great example of a Verizon Innovative Learning Lab, and the teachers and students were equally patient and excellent to work with. We maximized our time in Kentucky by capturing stills simultaneously to add even more value to the work.
